Hitachi M4 SEM Stubs

Introduction

The standard Hitachi stubs use an M4 threaded hole in the base of the stubs. Our comprehensive selection of Hitachi M4 stubs include sizes from 15mm up to 100mm diameter to fit virtually all applications. Made from vacuum grade aluminum in different heights and styles. They are manufactured according to the original Hitachi specifications to fit the standard Hitachi sample stub holders and stage adapters with M4 thread.

The following Hitachi stubs are available:

• Cylinder Hitachi stubs, standard
• 15mm diameter with 6 and 10mm height
• 25mm diameter with 6 and 10mm height
• 32mm diameter with 6 and10mm height
• 50mm diameter with 6mm height
• 63mm diameter with 6mm height
• 100mm with 4.5mm height

• Angled Hitachi stubs to quickly image samples at 45° or 90° pre-tilt w/o using tilt on the sample stage:
  • 15mm diameter with 45° and 45/90°
  • 25mm with 45°, 45/90° and double 90°
  • 32mm with 45/90° and double 90 

• Hitachi Dish cylinder stubs: Hitachi Dish cylinder stubs in 15mm diameter for sample preparation of solutions or fluids directly on the stub. The dish design prevent fluids from dripping of the stub. Sample can be dried directly on the SEM stub.
  
  

• Hitachi Stub Extender: Hitachi Stub Extender to quickly adjust height and bring samples closer to the pole piece. 

• Hitachi pin type stub with M6 threaded pin. This Hitachi pin type stub with M6 threaded flat pin stub fits directly in the Hitachi stage adapters with M6 threaded holes. Useful to reduce height for tall samples or for use in airlock systems.
